Enugu car snatcher arrested after slitting vehicle owner’s throat

A robbery suspect who slit the throat of one Anthony Nnamani in an attempt to snatch his car at Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State on August 28, has been arrested by operatives attached to the State Police Command.

It was gathered that the incident which occurred on August 28 at about 3:40pm, drew the attention of people to the scene as they thought the suspected car snatcher was a ritualist.

Confirming the incident in a statement, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu said operatives of Udenu Police Division acting on a tip off rushed to the scene where they apprehended the car snatcher.

“The suspect will be charged to court upon the conclusion of our investigation,” Amaraizu disclosed.
