Super Eagles’ forward, Ahmed Musa has stated that Gernot Rohr’s men will give their best when they face England in a pre-World Cup friendly at Wembley on Saturday.
Musa believes that this weekend game against the Three Lions is a build-up for this summer’s tournament in Russia.
According to him, either a win or draw will be good for the three times African champions to go into the World Cup.
“This game is not all about winning but to tune up for the World Cup,” Musa told CSN.
“A win or a draw will boost our confidence going to the World Cup, so we will play not to lose.
“It is a big game for us and we shall give it our best shot,” he added.
Nigeria and England have faced each other twice: the two teams drew 0-0 at the 2002 World Cup, while the Three Lions won a friendly 1-0 back in 1994.
