England senior national team coach, Gareth Southgate, has snubbed Nigerian born Chelsea youngster, Tammy Abraham in his team selection ahead of friendly matches against Italy and Netherlands.
Abraham turned down Nigeria to pursue an international career with England.
He was missing from a 27-man list of players released by coach Southgate for the upcoming friendly games.
Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck was preferred ahead of Abraham even though top striker Harry Kane is out injured.
The Anglo-Nigerian has made his debut for England during the last round of international games.
Despite earning praises for his performances in the games against Germany and Brazil respectively, the on loan Chelsea forward was overlooked by the Three Lions’ handler for their upcoming games.
