The English Football Association has invited Jordon Ibe, Dele Alli and Dominic Iorfa, to their U-21 squad to face USA next month.
Alli gets his first call-up, after scoring his first Premier League goal for Tottenham Hotspur, in their 1-1 draw with Leicester City over the weekend.
Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, had met with Liverpool’s Ibe, to persuade him to snub England for Nigeria. But it appears the teenager is not convinced and is interested in representing England.
Iorfa, whose father played for the national team and is currently a football administrator in the country, has not been approached by Nigeria, despite his good form for Wolves.
