DAILY POST has gathered that the ongoing governorship and House of Assembly elections have turned bloody in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

Our reporter gathered that in Ter Guma street, North Bank area of the state, fight erupted between two rival cult groups over money related matters.

We gathered that during the affray, one of the cult members shot at his opponent and fled.

This is contrary to the report that the incident occurred in the PDP governorship candidate, Terhemen Tarzoor’s polling booth.

It has been observed that at Tarzoor’s polling booth in Vindi, the process is going on very peaceful.

The police, while confirming the incident to newsmem, Saturday afternoon said they were in the know on whether the victim died in the process or not.
