Ifeanyi Umere, the Senior Special Adviser to the Abia Governor on Social Orientation, and a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has described the gubernatorial candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the just-concluded 2019 elections, Alex Otti, as a serial failure.
This came following the petition filed at the election tribunal by Otti, challenging the declaration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as winner of March 9 gubernatorial poll in the state.
The APGA candidate is also asking the tribunal to cancel the results of 15 local government areas in Abia, which he (Otti) claimed, was marred by over voting, and order for a rerun.
But, Umere, in an interview with reporters on Sunday, said, “Otti’s petition is selfishly and outrageous. It also exposes him to be man that lacks honour and integrity. His approach is that, court should declare over voting in 15 local government areas in Abia. This is a man canonizing selfishness, epitomizing primitive politics. And of course, this is what we see when sentenced to the boys quarter of Abia politics. It has a way of making you a bit frenzy. I wish him quick recovery.
“I wish, he comes back to his senses, as he continues to expose his lack of faculty and understanding of politics. We will continue to defeat him. This is end of him. We wish him once again, quick recovery. He does not have the capacity. Let me also say that, I learnt lately that he (Otti) is also interested in becoming APGA national chairman after being in unholy alliance with Bianca Ojukwu.”
The PDP chieftain added, “If APGA ventures to surrender their structures to Alex Otti, INEC should await its deregistration, because, Otti is a serial loser. And I challenge him who claimed to be a democrat, Ask him, Obiano their governor, donated four hundred and fifty million naira to Buhari, while APGA had a presidential candidate in the just-concluded 2019 general elections, exposing that my allegation that he courted Buhari in an exchange of victory in Anambra election laid credence. I said it.”
