Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos has attacked his teammate, Casemiro over comment made on Los Blancos’ players following his side’s El Clasico 5-1 defeat by Barcelona in the La Liga fixture played on Sunday evening.
Recall that Casemiro had blamed Los Blancos’ players for their humiliating defeat in the hands of Barca at the Camp Nou.
Goals from Luiz Suarez (3), Philippe Coutinho (1) and Arturo Vidal (1) ensured victory for the Catalan club at the Camp Nou.
Marcelo’s lone strike was not enough to get a point for the visitors.
Ramos, however, said Casemiro’s comment was inopportune, adding that the Los Blancos’ players must remain calm.
“It’s inopportune to say that,” he said when asked about Casemiro’s comments by Marca.
“We must remain calm. It’s not the time to point the finger at anyone. We have to be self-critical and sometimes it’s the players’ fault.”
The result leaves Madrid ninth in La Liga while their run of three-straight defeats is their worst in the league since 2009.
