Reports reaching Dailypost indicate that the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka is dead.
It was gathered through a family source that Mrs. Funmilayo lost the battle to cancer few hours ago.
She was 52 years old.
Until her demise, Funmilayo has been deputy to Dr. John kayode Fayemi since October 16, 2010.
The late Funmilayo who came to the position from the banking sector had also championed women’s rights all through her life. She left behind, her husband and three children. Details shortly.
