Veteran journalist, Dele Momodu has predicted what will happen to Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, few weeks to the end of his tenure.
The media mogul alleged that Fayose, a critic of the current government, will find it tough because President Muhammadu Buhari’s “people” will unleash “terror and keep him busy”.
Momodu who took to his Twitter handle also noted that Fayose will find it very difficult to fund the governorship campaign of his deputy, Kolapo Olusoji.
He also observed that the manner in which the Minister of Solid Minerals, Kayode Fayemi emerged governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was an indication that he has “some war chest” behind him.
He wrote: “I love the way we all overrate some and underrate others. Fayose will find it tough in the next few weeks.
“He will find it hard to raise funds once he’s not the one contesting. His priority will change to self preservation. He won’t spend his personal savings on anyone right now.
“Buhari people will unleash terror on him & keep him busy. The people who are hailing him may not trust the Prof to carry on with the easy disposition & stomach infrastructure of Fayose.
“The manner Fayemi won against all his attackers shows he has some war chests behind him.”
