Ekiti guber: Orji Kalu speaks on Fayemi’s emergence as APC flag bearer

Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed joy over the emergence of Dr. Kayode Fayemi as the governorship flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress in the July 4th gubernatorial election in Ekiti State.
Kalu, who made his feeling known via his official Facebook account on Tuesday, pledged to give his maximum support to Fayemi to enable him sweep off what he described as “wasted years of misgovernance in Ekiti state”.
He wrote: “I was overwhelmed with joy at the emergence of Dr. Fayemi as our (APC) flagbearer for the Ekiti state gubernatorial election slated July 4th, 2018.
“His victory was a victory for President Muhammadu Buhari and the entire APC and I pledge my unflinching support to him as he’s poised to sweep off the wasted years of mis-governance in the State.
“I also encourage him to reach out and unite with other contestants so that their strength(s) can be harnessed in unison for the overall victory of the party.”
