Eid-Maulud: Plateau police deploy 2100 personnel in State

The Plateau State Police Command on Tuesday said it deployed a total of two thousand one hundred (2100) Police personnel across the State to ensure the security of lives and property during the Eid-Maulud Celebration.

The Command in a statement signed by its Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO),DSP Terna Tyopev, and made available to DAILY POST said the personnel that include 121 SPOs, 387 Inspectors, 1520 Rank and File and 72 Traffic Wardens would ensure a hitch-free Eid-Maulud Celebration,

Tyopev while pointing out that the Protection of lives and property through effective vehicular and foot Patrols during the period was its utmost concern advised members of the Public to be security conscious and report suspicious movement around them to the Police.

The spokesman added that Owners of vehicles are advised to apply minimum security by fixing pedal and or steering locks in addition to the tracking devices on their vehicles.

The Command also wished all Muslim faithful happy Eid-Maulud Celebration.
