Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has felicitated with Muslim faithful across the country and the state in particular on this year’s eid-el fitri celebration.
A statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye issued on Tuesday stated that the annual spiritual exercise, which is one of the five pillars of Islam, will contribute more to their spiritual wellbeing.
According to the governor, the Ramadan period, being a season of discipline and sacrifice, has availed Muslims another opportunity to reflect on the essence of living a Holy life.
While urging Muslim faithful to imbibe the lessons learnt from the one-month spiritual exercise, the governor also enjoined the Muslim faithful to continue to offer prayers for abiding peace in the state and the nation in general.
