Egypt have announced a 23-man squad to face Nigeria, in their double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next week.
The team is made up of five foreign based players and 18 from their domestic league – there are nine players each from Zamalek and Al Ahly.
Hector Cuper’s men will travel to Nigeria for the first leg on March 25, which will be played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna. The return leg will be played at Alexandria four days later.
The Pharaoahs currently lead Group G with six points from two games, while the Super Eagles are second with four points. Only one country will qualify from the group.
