Celtic defender, Efe Ambrose, has been invited by Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, for the two international friendlies against DR Congo and Cameroon, to replace the injured Kenneth Omeruo.
Omeruo was replaced by Vasil Bozhikov with nine minutes left, as his Turkish club drew 1-1 with Rizespor on Monday.
For Ambrose, this will be the first time he will be invited to the national team, since Nigeria failed to make it to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
The Eagles are scheduled to play Congo and Cameroon in Belgium on October 8 and 11 respectively.
