Staff of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will on Wednesday stage an anti-corruption procession as part of activities to mark the 2015 International Anti-corruption Day.
This is contained in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday by the Head, Media and Publicity of the commission, Mr Wilson Uwujaren.
The statement said the procession would be staged from the commission’s office in Wuse 2, Abuja, to the Shehu Yar’adua Centre, Abuja, venue of the National Anti-corruption Day celebration.
It said the exercise was expected to begin at 8 a.m. and “shall’’ be led by the new Chairman of the commission, Mr Ibrahim Magu.
The statement said the theme of the 2015 International Anti-corruption Day is: ` Break the Corruption Chain’, and that it was intended to call global attention “to the effects of corruption on all sectors of our national life’’.(NAN)
