EFCC arrests suspected visa fraudster

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zone has arrested one Akomolehin Johnson Olusesan, over visa racketeering.

The suspect was arrested following a petition to the Commission on his alleged involvement in the issuance of fake Canadian visa to unsuspected members of the public.

Eight of the victims have come forward to volunteer useful information to operatives of the commission.

Olusesan has defrauded his victims to the tune of N3m.

According to some of the victims, the suspect allegedly charged between N200, 000 to N1m per visa.

Copies of fake Canadian Visas were recovered from the suspect at the point of arrest.

The suspect will be charged to court after investigation is concluded.
