The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFFC, has arrested former Governor, Ikedi Ohakim of Imo State and Admiral Murtala Nyako {retd}, a former Governor of Adamawa State, alongside his son, Abdulazeez.
Reports say operatives of the commission arrested Nyako, his son and Ohakim on Tuesday evening.
Confirming the arrests, the commission said the two governors and Abdulazeez were arrested by the commission for corruption related offences.
According to Mr. Wilson Uwajuren, EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Nyako, his son and Ohakim were billed to appear in court on Wednesday.
