Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to police raid on the Abuja residence of former Federal Commissioner for Information, Edwin Clark.
Recall that some police officers had invaded Clark’s residence, following an allegation of gun running.
However, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris had denied the incident, saying he never ordered any of his men to search Clark’s residence.
But the Waziri of Adamawa, while condemning the illegal action by some police officers in a tweet, on Wednesday wrote: “Yesterday’s invasion of the residence of elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark stands condemned and again underscores the extent that this administration can go to discredit and debase the opposition.”
