As the Edo governorship election got underway, a video surfaced online showing how some members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, are purportedly bribing voters.
The footage showed some alleged APC agents paying N2000 to electorates who have reportedly voted for the party’s governorship candidate, Godwin Obaseki.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, earlier alleged that the APC was planning to rig the election.
The opposition party alleged that APC in conjunction with some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,have written fake results for nine Local Government Areas in the state.
