Ed Sheeran confirms marriage to long-term girlfriend

Award-winning popstar, Ed Sheeran, who reportedly tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn in December has now confirmed they are married.

Ed Sheeran revealed this on Friday in a new interview on YouTube with Charlamagne The God.

The couple got married in December at their home in Suffolk, England, in front of 40 friends and family members.

When Charlamagne Tha God asked about his more personal lyrics on his new album, Sheeran referenced his marriage saying: ”Watch how the lyrics in the songs might get twisted / My wife wears red, but looks better without the lipstick.

“It was actually before me and Cherry got married and I knew that we’d be married by the point that the song came out.

“[I thought] Someone’s gonna hear that and be like, ‘Oh, they’re married!’ I didn’t know how that would be construed, but obviously, it’s already come out. We are married.”
