Ebola: Another nurse in Lagos tests positive

The fear of the spread of Ebola virus Disease has continued generate fear among Nigerians as another nurse in Lagos state has tested positive to the virus. This is coming days after a nurse who had contact with the first victim, Patrick Sawyer died of the virus. Report says the nurse who is a newlywed was also among the medical experts that had direct contact with the late Liberian man, Patrick Sawyer. Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, has confirmed that her husband was among the 177 people currently placed under scrutiny. He revealed that nine have so far developed the virus, therefore bringing the total number of cases in Nigeria to ten. DailyPost recalls that two of the infected persons have died; the Liberian and a nurse, while eight are alive and presently undergoing medical attention.
