The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has confirmed that the Golden Eaglets will jet out to Argentina for a pre-World Cup training camp on Thursday.
“We have sorted all the logistics concerning the Eaglets training in Argentina and they will now leave on Thursday,” NFF general secretary Mohammed Sanusi announced.
25 players are expected to make the trip, which has been delayed many times because of visa issues.
Nigeria are the current defending champions of the U-17 World Cup and have been drawn in a group that also has hosts Chile, Croatia and USA.
Their first game of the tournament is on October 17 against USA. .
