The Golden Eaglets have been scheduled to participate at the Suwon International Tournament in Korea.
Nigeria’s U-17 side will kick off the invitational with a match against Brazil on June 10, according to the organizers. The game will be the second of the day and starts at 6pm local time (10am in Nigeria), after the hosts, Korea, have played USA at 3pm local time (7am in Nigeria).
Two days later, Emmanuel Amuneke’s boys will square up against the Junior Tadjeu Warriors, while Brazil takes on the Americans.
“The 4-Nation Invitational is really good for us as it would further expose the players to competitions against teams that we could meet at the World Cup in Chile,”Amuneke stated.
It is the second time the Eaglets will be taking part in the tournament. They previously made an appearance on their way to winning the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2007 in the same country.
