The Department of State Services (DSS) yesterday re-arrested former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki.

This occurred shortly after he was released from the Kuje Prison in Abuja.

Dasuki is standing trial in three different courts in Abuja for alleged money laundering offences running into billions of naira.

He was taken to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), but was granted bail last week along with former Sokoto State governor, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Sagir, as well as a former NNPC top official, Aminu Baba Kusa.

Dasuki’s lawyer, Ahmed Raji (SAN) confirmed his re-arrest to Daily Trust.
