A notorious criminal in Edo State has been arrested by operatives attached to the state police command.
The suspect, identified only as AK was arrested on Monday alongside his unnamed lover, after stealing from a church.
AK, who has reportedly been terrorizing people by breaking into their apartments in Benin City, the state capital, alongside his accomplice, broke into a church at Ekenwan Road, Oredo.
They had stolen some valuable items before the police swooped on them.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Abiodun Osifo confirmed the incident to newsmen on Tuesday, saying the duo have been detained and investigations are ongoing.
