Dortmund give Barcelona two-week deadline to sign Ousmane Dembele

Barcelona have been given a two-week deadline, to sign Ousmane Dembele from Borussia Dortmund.

Dembele is believed to be Barca’s number one choice to replace Neymar, who has since joined Paris Saint-Germain. But the Catalans are yet to agree a deal for the player.

Dortmund do not want the saga to rumble on, with the France winger being indefinitely excluded from training and chief executive Hans Joachim Watzke giving the La Liga club a strict time limit.

“The time horizon is enough for two games,” he told Kicker when asked for an update on the situation.

Dortmund claim to have already rejected a £90million offer for the promising 20-year-old.
