The Ondo State Police Command, Saturday, advised the Akungba community against paying the alleged N20million ransom the kidnappers of the regent of the town, Princess Oluwatoyin Omosowon, are asking for.

The regent, Omosowon and three of her aides were abducted last week while coming from a public outing along the Ikare/ Owo Road.

The police gave the warning through the spokesman of the command, Wole Ogodo, cautioning the community against paying the ransom without carrying the police along.

Ogodo also advised the family of the regent against establishing contact with the abductors without informing the police.
