The lawmaker representing Ojo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Tajudeen Obasa has urged “the good citizens of the Land of Glory, Bayelsa State to sustain the current tempo of development by voting massively for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Seriake Dickson”.

The election, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), will hold on Saturday December 5, 2015.

In a statement released on Thursday, the lawmaker pleaded with the citizens to vote for him based on his record of achievements.

“Campaign period is always about the message of promises, the effect of those promises can only be judged by the records of achievements when a candidate is seeking for a second term,” he said.

“The amiable and indefatigable Governor has touched all sectors of governance including the primary aim of any government which is to protect lives and property by investing in the Operation Doo Akpor which has drastically reduced crime in the State”

“Education is the cure to ignorance, understanding the topographical nature of the state. This is the first time within the space of four years a governor constructed eight model secondary schools and twenty-five constituency schools from scratch and equipped them with science laboratories and modern facilities.”

In the same vein, the lawmaker urged Bayelsans to come out en masse to vote PDP so that Dickson would continue his good works as well as further compliment the achievements of the immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan, who hails from the state.
