A Non Government Organisation, the Nation Builders, has called on the Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, to concentrate his energy on the completion of ongoing projects in the state and not dissipate energy on initiating new ones, adding that the next administration coming after his should be allowed to initiate new ones.
The group made the call in a congratulatory message to the government and people of Osun State on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the creation of the state.
The statement, signed by the Coordinator of the group, Ayo Odeyemi, acknowledge the contributions of past governors of the state since inception and singled out the unique contribution of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on road construction.
Tasking him on some of the challenges confronting the state, especially the shortage of teachers in public schools in the state and salaries arrears of civil servants, the group wished the state and indigenes well as it enters a new year of its existence.
