Don Jazzy snubs D’Banj’s new producer at Industry Night

D’banj’s new producer, Jay Sleek, has hit out at Don Jazzy, for snubbing him at the Industry Night, a weekly gig where musical heads assemble.

He tweeted: “Omo I set hail @DONJAZZY today for industry night and he was reluctant to say hi! Na wa oh!”

The Mavins boss, came into limelight with his protege, D’Banj back in the days and they made fantastic music together. But early this year, both parties decided to go their separate ways for ‘professional reasons’.

Don Jazzy set up Mavins Records with Tiwa Savage, D’Prince, Wande Coal and Dr. SID, while D’Banj started his own record label with his younger brother, Kay Switch and hypeman, Special ED. The Kokomaster also hired 2face Idibia’s producer, Jay Sleek, to be part of the set up.

Although both D’Banj and Don Jazzy have denied at different times that there is bad blood, the super producer’s gesture is now generating a lot of talk in entertainment circles.
