Chairman of DAAR Communications, owners of AIT and Ray Power FM, Mr Raymond Dokpesi (jnr) yesterday led a a team of the company to the State House in Abuja to present a seasonal greetings card to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina and the Director of Information in the presidency, Mr O.J. Abuah, received the delegation.
Raymond Dokpesi (jnr), is the son of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, owner of DAAR Communications.
The senior Dokpesi is standing trial for a six-count charge of alleged involvement in the $2.1 billion arms procurement fraud and breach of public trust preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He was arraigned on December 9 and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Dokpesi was granted N200 million bail on December 14 by Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
His son and the DAAR team presented the seasonal card to Adesina, who described it as “giant.”
The presidential aide, in a statement on his official Facebook page, said the card conveyed Eid-l-Maulud, Christmas and New Year messages to President Buhari.
