Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone, has made his choice between Paris Saints-Germain stars, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe on who he prefers to join his club.
Neymar underperformed for Brazil during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and was even caught in the spotlight for diving in the tournament.
Mbappe on the other hand, had an instrumental role for France over the summer, playing in seven matches and scoring four goals for Les Bleus in their successful World Cup campaign.
Simeone, however, said he would choose Neymar over Mbappe.
According to him, the Brazilian is more of a team player, while the France international is more of an individual player.
“Neymar, sure, Neymar works, Mbappé is much more individualistic,” Simeone told Marca.
Simeone, who has been heavily linked with Inter Milan, has also spoken about the glaring omission of goalkeeper, Jan Oblak in the FIFA FIFPro World 11 shortlist.
“Oblak is among the best three in the world, not being in that group gives you little credibility,” he said.
“The world talks to Oblak as the best goalkeeper,” he added.
“Courtois would not be a starter at Atlético, Oblak is better,” he said.
