As the collation of results from Saturday’s Bayelsa governorship election resumed on Monday, results from Ogbia Local Government Area of the state indicate that the PDP is leading with 13, 051 votes to APC’s 9, 106 votes.
Governor Henry Dickson is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in that election while Chief Timipre Sylva is challenging him under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
A breakdown of the results highlighted that the total numbers of votes cast were 23,358. While valid votes amounted to: 22,478. Votes rejected were: 887
