Diaby plays for 65 minutes in latest Arsenal comeback

Abou Diaby played 65 minutes in his latest bid to make a return from injury, as Arsenal’s U-21 side lost 2-1 to Chelsea.

The French midfielder, who has not played since he limped off the pitch in a Premier League game against Chelsea on September 29, provided the pass for Andre Santos to level scored in the first half.He was then replaced by Conor Henderson around the hour mark.

Reports have it that he was crisp and precise with his passing and strong in the tackles.

Diaby has only made six first-team appearances for the Gunners this season, but is expected to kick on for the second part of the season.
