Details of Unai Emery’s contract with Arsenal revealed

Arsenal are expected to wrap up the deal to make Unai Emery their next manager within 72 hours.

Emery, 46, has been in London to hold talks with the club hierarchy, who were hugely impressed with his plans for the club.

The Spaniard has now agreed terms with a salary offer of around £5million a year.

He will sign for two years, with the option for a further year.

Emery only left Paris Saint-Germaian at the end of the 2017/2018 season.

During his time in France, he won one Ligue 1 title and four domestic cups in two seasons.

Before then, he guided Sevilla to three Europa League triumphs.
