On Friday, Tottenham Hotspur announced that Harry Kane has penned a new deal with the Premier League club.
Kane has agreed a new six-year deal worth £180,000-a-week.
This means the England captain could pocket as much as £10m-per-season, as Spurs tie down their star man until 2024.
Kane scored 41 goals in all competitions last season, as they secured a top-four finish for the third successive season.
The 24-year-old’s exploits have caught the attention of Real Madrid, who have been linked with a world-record move for Tottenham’s talisman.
However, Spurs have ended speculation about Kane’s future by tying him to a new long-term deal, that sees his wages increase substantially from the £100,000-a-week.
