Udu Elders, Women and Leaders today affirmed the fourteen day ultimatum by Ighele-Urhobo (Youth Wing of UPU) Udu Chapter led by Comrade Sunday Subi for Ijaws to vacate Udu Land.
They stakeholders met at Otor-Udu in Udu Local Government Area, Delta State.
The Udu Elders, Women and Leaders frowned at the wanton destruction of lives and properties of Udu people in a comminque issued at the meeting.
Part of the communique reads,”Enough is enough. We can’t stomach it any more.”
National President of the Ighele-Urhobo, Comrade Ovie Anthony Igho called on other Urhobos to domesticate the “vacate order” in their kingdoms, just as he gave his firm support to the Udu people.
