Popular Nigerian singer, Davido on Sunday night paid homage to music icon, Dbanj, on the BET main stage.
Davido, who was present to receive his plaque for Best International Act took time out to send condolences to Dbanj, who lost his 1-year-old son, Daniel on Sunday, June 24.
His words: “Before I go on, I want to send condolences to my big brother, the actual artiste that paved the way for us to be on this stage, Dbanj my condolences I wish you. You’re my brother.”
Daniel was confirmed dead on Sunday after he drowned in the swimming pool at Dbanj’s Ikoyi residence in Lagos.
Davido also revealed on the international stage that his album will drop later in the year even as he disclosed he is ready and open for collaborations.
