David Mark mourns Senator Ayo

rkSenate President, Senator David Mark has commiserated with the Government and the people of Ondo State over the death of Sen. Ayo Lawrence.

Ayo Lawrence served as a Senator under the platform of the defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) between 1999 – 2003.

In the message of condolence, Senator Mark described late Ayo Lawrence as a true democrat who stood to be counted in the cause of the struggle for democracy, in Nigeria

Senator Mark recalled late Ayo’s frank and robust contributions to National issues during his stint in the National Assembly.

He noted that late Ayo was a true friend, and a distinguished parliamentarian who identified with the ordinary man.

Senator Mark lamented that Nigeria has lost a fine gentleman and a patriot who believed in the unity and indivisibility of the country.
