Femi Fani-Kayode, former Aviation Minister, has claimed that Olisa Metuh, former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is wanted dead.
The PDP chieftain claimed that Metuh was wanted dead because he “opposes” President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a tweet, on Thursday, Fani-Kayode wrote: “It is one thing to want to jail a man at all costs and destroy him even though he has done no wrong and simply because he opposes @MBuhari but it is quite another to want him dead.
“What has Olisa Metuh done to warrant the sheer wickedness he is receiving from Justice Okon Abang?”
Metuh, is currently standing trial before the Justice Okon Abang-led Federal High Court, Abuja for allegedly receiving the sum of N400m from former National Security Adviser, NSA, Sambo Dasuki during the build-up to 2015 Presidential election.
The former PDP spokesperson, whose application to travel abroad for medical treatment was denied had few days ago collapsed during court proceedings.
Reacting to the incident, the trial Judge had said Metuh’s collapse was staged.
