Reno Omokri, former President Goodluck Jonathan’s aide, has lambasted the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on his silence over Boko Haram’s refusal to release Christian girl, Leah Sharibu.
Sharibu is one of the students abducted by Boko Haram from Government Girls Science Technical College in Dapchi, Yobi State on February 19, 2018.
The terrorists, who released some of the girls, however, refused releasing Sharibu for refusing to denounce Christianity.
Reacting to the situation, Omokri wondered why Osinbajo who “publicly speaks lies against Jonathan” has not said anything to comfort Sharibu’s parents.
In a tweet, Omokri wrote: “Vice President @ProfOsinbajo, a Pastor, is quick to publicly speak lies against @GEJonathan and others.
“Yet this same man has not thought it wise to even say one word of comfort to the parents of Leah Sharibu and the Christian community who are in deep anguish over her ordeal!”
