Femi Fani-Kayode, on Wednesday reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s claim that he responded better to the adoption of school girls than the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Buhari said Jonathan’s administration was slow with their response to the abduction of Chibok girls unlike his administration’s swift reaction to a similar abduction of girls from Government Science Secondary Scchool in Dapchi, Yobe State.
According to Buhari, while his government swung into action immediately after the abduction, the last administration looked the other way when the Chibok girls were abducted in 2014.
Reacting to the statement, the former Minister described Buhari as a failure over his inability to protect Nigerians.
In a tweet, Fani-Kayode challenged Buhari to stop blaming Jonathan and do his job.
He wrote: “”My response to Dapchi was better than GEJ’s response to Chibok”-Pres. Muhammadu Buhari.
“For 3 years ur job has been to protect ALL the girls in Nigeria, including Dapchi, from being abducted. U failed in that job. Stop talking about GEJ, get on with ur job and get them back!”
