Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, has reacted to his side’s 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace on Sunday, which saw their 11-match winning run end.

Luka Milivojevic opened scoring from the spot, before Granit Xhaka and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put the Gunners in front.

However, Milivojevic struck again from 12 yards with seven minutes left, after Wilfried Zaha was fouled in the area by Xhaka.

When asked whether Zaha dived, Emery told Sky Sports: “When you are defending a lot in your box that can happen.

“I respect the referee’s decision. We need to not concede chances, keeping the opposition far from our box.”

Emery aslo explained why he took off Mesut Ozil and brought on Danny Welbeck in the second half.

“Because the last match away at Fulham we played like that with a good transition. With Danny and Laca I wanted to find a good transition between two good players,” he added.
