A Student of the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) and other unidentified persons have been killed in a cult clash between the Vikings and KKK confraternity in Ogoja Local Government Area (LGA) of Cross River State.
DAILY POST reports that three others were injured with houses and property worth several thousands of naira burnt.
According to our investigation, one of the victims killed in the clash was Dominic Modey whose mother has been paralyzed for several years now. The mother of Modey, our findings revealed has only two siblings, the disease and another.
Modey lived at Abakpa behind customary court, opposite former Texaco filling station. Meanwhile, the Youths of Ogboja in Abakpa community have met with the clan head concerning the incident and the royal father has given them the go ahead to chase those involved in the matter.
Confirming the report, the Police Public Relations Officer, Cross River State Police Command, Irene Igbo said some persons have been arrested and police was on top of the situation.
