Results of the governorship election for Cross River State are now being collated at the Collation Centre in the State capital, Calabar.
The battle of who emerges governor of the state is clearly between the incumbent governor, Ben Ayade of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate, Senator John-Owan Enoch.
Figures announced so far showed that the PDP candidate was coasting to victory.
