According to a resident of the area who spoke on the ground of anonymity, “The news of Sebastian came to us as a shock, he was killed over the weekend in his residence at Eight Mile. The deceased was very much loved by the governor and his family. He had five-year-old twins and a new baby”.

While contacting Mr. Christian Ita, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, he declined comment over the unfortunate incident, saying that the continued insecurity in the country might not be unconnected to politics.
