Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo wants his club to sign Milan forward André Silva, Diario Gol reports.
According to the report, The Los Blancos want to sign a striker in January transfer window and have been consistently linked with Inter’s Mauro Icardi, who has made it clear he is going nowhere.
Ronaldo has reportedly told the Merengues hierarchy that he wants his compatriot, Silva to join him at the Bernabeu.
The 32-year-old doesn’t want a superstar striker like Icardi to arrive, especially one who in the past had difficult relationships with his teammates.
The five time Ballon d’Or winner has given the name of Silva to President Florentino Perez.
Silva, 22, joined the Rossoneri from Porto this summer, and he has scored six goals in six games in the Europa League.
The forward is yet to score in Serie A and has been publicly criticized by Coach Gennaro Gattuso.
