A press release issued in Kaduna and signed by Public Relations Officer of Yoruba community, Yunus Alao Muibi, described Oba Arigbabuwo as false.

The community stated that Arigbabuwo was investigated and found to be false.

“We the entire members of Yoruba Community in the 19 Northern States and Abuja led by our Acting President General, Dr. Jimpat Aiyelangbe and the Liadi Yinka Olapade, the Acting President Yoruba Community Kaduna State, wish to thank your Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the Commissioner of Police, Director of SSS and the GOC of One Division of Nigerian Army for giving us time to celebrate our usual YORUBA DAY, and celebration of life of our late President General Alh. Abdulganiyu Oguntoyinbo,” the statement explained.

Contacted, Arigbabuwo said even though he was not interested in replying them, it was obvious that they were seeking for government recognition.
