Crisis looms in Kadpoly as outgoing rector refuses to handover, faces N18m‎ fraud allegation

Crisis is currently brewing in Kaduna Polytechnic following the alleged refusal of the outgoing Rector, Dr. Mohammed Bello Ibrahim to officially handover to the Acting Rector.

Ibrahim is being accused of illegally withdrawing the sum of N18m from the institution’s account.

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, Kadpoly chapter had as a result of the ugly development, issued an ultimatum to him, which expired today, Friday.

While commenting on the development, Public Relations Officer of Kasdpoly ASUP, Comrade Abbass Mohammed said that as at time of filing this report, the rector was yet to yield to the ultimatum.

The Acting Rector, Dr. Catherine Uloko, or her predecessor could not be contacted for comments.
