Chelsea will be without their first-choice goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, when they travel to Manchester United on Sunday.
The Belgium international suffered an ankle injury in training, but the Blues are optimistic he will be fit to face Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final next Saturday.
Apart from his ankle, Courtois has also been receiving treatment for a hip injury in recent weeks. He will be replaced in goal by Asmir Begovic at Old Trafford.
It will be Begovic’s first start in the league this season, as Antonio Conte’s men seek to extend the gap between themselves and second-placed Tottenham to seven points.
The Bosnia international has only made six appearances for Chelsea this season and almost left in the January transfer window.
